every morning.. you could find me here..
standing on the platform.. waiting for the train.
[and oh.. this is where i also frequently wait for my guy after work. eep! talk about the magical shaw boulevard]
and every time i'd see the train coming, it always reminds me of this great story of a father who gave up the most important person in his life.

There once a man who worked in a small town as the operator of a drawbridge on a river.
A train track ran across the bridge, and the operator's job was to keep the bridge up
when no train was coming so that the boats could pass underneath.
When a train approached, he was to blow the whistle and let down the bridge.

One sunny Saturday morning, the man brought his seven year-old son along to work with him.
The boy could frolic along the river, skip rocks on the water, chase butterflies, or even try to catch a fish.

Shortly before noon, a passenger train was due to come through the area.

The man began to make preparations to let the bridge down so the train could pass safely across the river.
As he examined the bridge, he noticed that someone ─ a small child ─ had somehow climbed over
the guardrail next to the bridge, and was playing at the very spot where the bridge would come down.
As he looked closer, he realized with horror that the child was his son.
In desperation, he yelled out his son's name, but the sound of the approaching train drowned out his screams.

He knew he had to make a quick decision. If he lowered the bridge now his son would die.
But if he didn't, all the people on the train would die as the train plunged into the river.
He barely had time to think.
As he screamed in agony, the man thrust forward the lever to lower the bridge just as the train arrived.
His son died instantly.

And as the rain passed by, the people just smiled and waved as they passed by the man in the control booth,

with his head bowed low, obviously to what has just taken place.

Isn't this what God did for us?

we've all heard this.. the story. we knew it.. John three sixteen.
but do we realize how deep and serious this verse is.
there are lots of things that drown us.
forgetting how important and how big our responsibility is when it comes to giving God the glory.
in all honesty.. i feel so bad sometimes about how things work.
i ain't tough. i'm weak.
i cry. and even fall down.
begging for hands to pick me up.
but never will I give up.
for there is a God who loves me.

i'm hitting my radar back, because i have hope that somehow... one day..
we'll be in the same page. wanting.. praying and longing to serve Christ.

remembering how awesome He is. He could die just for us to be saved.
let's help each other to keep the faith. and not to fall out.

i call to you... 'cause You believe in me.
i come to you.. 'cause You never leave me.
Lord.. thank you for giving us the opportunity to remember that you gave your Son to show us how you love us.
we ain't perfect but you give us time to change our lives the way that's pleasing to you.

Like a catchy song on the radio we can't help but sing along to.

It's like wearing your heart on your sleeve.

A simple gesture, but will sure go a long way.

We strive to relay the message through a simple piece of clothing.

nope. this ain't just a shirt.
this shirt aims to make a difference.
not with how you wear it. nor with what and how it's made of.

THE BEAT GOES ON

life goes on.

It started when a friend had to suffice a heart operation. A frantic situation turned to a thrill of hope.
We did not come from a well-off clan, but we always wished we could give back from the little things we have.
Since we are already running a blithe t-shirt line, VNALTIK, we initially thought of making shirts we could sell and grant the proceeds to our friend to help.

Took my baby brother, the fabrics and some shirts I got and started to think of a simple statement that will go along with the passion.
We brainstormed one whole night and came up with TO THE SAME BEAT.

And that's when we realized we could run the campaign continually and help more people with whatever we have.

In order for us to thrive to this vision, we do need a li'l hand from like-minded individuals who are passionate in helping people out.

hope i could go back for good. feeding my radar with new stories.

was in the bazaar yesterday in Quezon City.

we dint know the place and how to get there.. but with the help of the GPS..

we got there in no time.

saw this pair from my cousin.

fell in love and told her to get me one.

yes, sole sisters!

one thing i couldn't forget about the bazaar is this place of woods.

it reminds me of the man-made forest in Bohol. beautiful tall trees. dried leaves.

makes me wanna go back there.

lovin' the logs.

and the shoes. so pretty!

just learned about this apps. the waterize effect.

thought my log photos would fit the effect so i tried the shots where i was sitting on the log.

the water reflection is just so pretty. so dope!

right after the bazaar, headed to MOA.

had dinner at pollo loco and tried the Ya Kun Kaya Toast.

so delish!

tried to bargain and ask the dean to let me get the subjects.

i just felt so bad when he didn't let me because i was three weeks late and classes had started already.

was sooo upset i want to get back to school again.

two weeks later.

a new door opened and i got a job.

it's always fun working with my brother.

especially during photo shoots.

we've been doing this together for a long time.

and i'm so much blessed I learned a lot of things from him.

we can work together with anything.. with anyone.

but because i'm back to my day job..

i only have a limited time to help him style his shoots.

right then, i started to tell him that he should try working with other people

but still... he would look and ask for me to help him out.

and because i love my brother and we dream together..

i can't just say no to him.

so yesterday.. i decided not to go to work and help him do this amazing shoot.

working with new group of people is so much fun.

haaay. can't wait to see the final photos Art took.

Columnist Art Buchwald tells the story of a day when he was riding in a cab in New York City with a friend. [let's name him Fred]

When they got out of the cab, his friend said to the driver,

"Thank you for the ride. You did a superb job of driving this cab!"

The taxi driver seemed stunned for a second and said, "Are you a wise guy or something?"

"NO" said Fred, "I'm serious. I admire the way you keep cool in heavy traffic.

Not many cab drivers are able to do that. I'm glad I rode in your cab today!"

Buchwald asked his friend, "What was that all about?"

[FRED] "I'm trying to bring love back to New York City,"

"I believe it's the only thing that can save this city."

[BUCHWALD] "You think one man can save NYC?"

[FRED] "It's not one man,"

"I believe I have made that taxi driver's day.

Suppose he has twenty fares.

He's going to be nice to those twenty fares because someone was nice to him.

Those fares will in turn be kinder to their employees, shopkeepers or waiters,

or even to their own families.

Eventually, the goodwill could spread to at least a thousand people.

Now that isn't bad, is it?"

[BUCHWALD] "But you are depending on that taxi driver to pass your goodwill to others."

[FRED] "Maybe he won't. But i might say something nice to ten

different people today. If, out of ten, I can make three happy,

then I can influence the attitudes of three thousand or more."

[BUCHWALD] "You're some kind of a nut."

[FRED] "Take postal workers, for instance.

The reason so many of them hate their work is because no one is telling

them that they are doing a good job."

[BUCHWALD] "But they aren't doing a good job."

[FRED] "They're not doing a good job because they don't believe anyone cares if they do or not."

Buchwald and his friend continued walking down the street and noticed five workmen eating their lunch.

Fred stopped and said, "That's magnificent job you men have done.

It must be difficult and dangerous work."

The workmen looked at Fred suspiciously.

"When will this job be finished?" Fred asked.

"September," growled one of the workmen.

"Ah that's really impressive. You must all be proud of what you are doing here!"

As they walked away, Buchwald said, "I still don't think you are doing any good."

[FRED] "On the contrary, when those workmen digest my words,

they'll feel better about what they are doing and somehow the city will benefit."

"But you can't do this alone," said Buchwald. "You're just one man."

[FRED] "But i'm not discouraged. I'm hoping to enlist others in my campaign."

They continued walking down the street.

"You just smiled at a very plain-looking woman," Buchwald said to Fred.

[FRED] "Yes I know. And if she's a school teacher, her class is going to be in for a fantastic day."

I was about to cross the pedestrian lane when i saw the taxis lined up outside Landmark.

i know i have a story about this so I braved myself and took my cam out in public and click!

you see the flow of the story? the message?

Most of us don't realize the impact that we can have in the world by

just showing love or a simple act one person at a time.

When we do, we can set off a chain reaction that will reap huge dividends for the kingdom of God.

We can make a big difference in the world with seemingly insignificant acts of kindness.

No need to open the bible and read every verse to share God's word.

We don't need to be righteous to be able to show people that we believe in God.

We just need to show them that they are being loved and appreciated whatever they do in life.

Compassion is the hallmark of religion.

Remember that God is able to take small things we do for him and perform miracles in other people's lives.

Try it and see what happens!

the evangelist and the post office

last week.. went to Manila to buy fabrics and other stuff i need for my store.

on my way back to immigration the jeep happened to pass by the post office ─ Manila post office.

throwback: when dad was working abroad... mom would carry us

and bring us to the post office to get my dad's letters or send him hers.

so when the jeep made his turn, i decided to stop by for a minute and take a look at it once again.

i remember the time when brother and I used to play in front of the P O S T O F F I C E.

we would sit on the steps of the stairs and do what kids do.

brother and I grew close together. i can even call us ─ best friends.

what i love about him is... he's a real guy.

real, in a sense, that you can talk to him about anything without faking himself about his opinion and whatnot..

he loves to draw people closer to God without scaring them.

without making you feel that you are not good enough.

looking at the post office and thinking of my brother made me remember

about a story of how an evangelist invited a young boy to attend a crusade but refused the invitation.

it was about a famous evangelist who was in town to hold an evangelistic crusade.

On the way to the stadium where the crusade was being held,

the evangelist wanted to stop at the post office and mail a letter.

But he got hopelessly lost and finally decided to ask someone for directions.

He noticed a little boy walking on the sidewalk, so he pulled over and said,

"Excuse me son, but can you tell me where the post office is?"

The little boy said, "Sure. Turn around and go back down the street to the first light,

turn left and it's a block or two on your right."

"Thank you very much, young man," said the evangelist.

"By the way," he added, handling a boy an announcement for the crusade,

"I'd like to invite you to come to a meeting later today where i'll tell you

how you can find Jesus Christ as your personal savior."

"Fat chance," said the little boy. "You can't even find the post office."

Fortunately for us, we don't have to find Jesus. Jesus finds us.

there will be just some other ppl who would help us on our way to deeply knowing Christ.

but still Jesus does everything for us to find him.

He's there since the beginning. He knows about what's to happen and how long we'll live.

He knows when we'll call him and when are we going to surrender and serve him.

In Luke fifteen, Jesus describes us as 'lost sheep'.

bet you know the story where as a shepherd with a flock of one hundred sheep,

he leaves the ninety nine in order to go out and find the one that has gone astray.

that's how Jesus loves his children. He could leave the others just to get one back.

He never wants us to fall in to sins and set apart from him.

and we don't have to find our way back to the fold. Jesus is pursuing us.

All we need to do is stop running and let him take us back.

we might fall so deep into things that blind us..

might be something that could set us apart from worshiping and giving him back the glory.

but let us always remember that God will never leave us and will never forget about us.

it may look like we're sooo doooomed and that life is a mess.

but turn that mess into a message.. God is there to lift us up.

was so busy for the past few days.

back to my 8-to-5 day job [again!]

i know it's hard to do all things at the same time.

but my dreams keep me awake.

which also tell me to keep moving forward.

it was crazy hot last Saturday at Nayong Pilipino.

but still.. dowd and I chose to stay there after the shoot.

we were actually looking for a place we could use for the next shoot.

NP still looks the same. just the way it was before.

the only difference was.. ang daming tao.

sat down for a while. and saw this manong selling ice cream.

went up to him. bought two cups.

one for me. and of course, one for my dowd. eep!

while holding the cups.. walking to where my dowd was sitting..

I smiled and remembered this story I once read about a girl and her ice cream cone.

"A girl from the Midwest made a trip to Hollywood to see the sights

and hopefully to catch a glimpse of a real movie star.

One afternoon, she visited Beverly Hills and went into an ice cream shop to get an ice cream cone.

She put in her order and then suddenly realized that the person standing next to her at the counter was

none other than Paul Newman. [sumalangit nawa ang kanyang kaluluwa]

She couldn't believe it! Her heart leapt.

But she tried to keep her composure. She didn't want to act like an ignorant hillbilly.

She didn't want to embarrass herself in front of someone like Paul Newman.

So she tried not to stare or show any emotion.

She paid the cashier, turned and walked calmly out of the store.

When she got outside, she took a deep breath and suddenly realized

that she had walked out of the store without her ice cream cone.

Oh no! She must have left it on the counter.

Now she was going to have to go back in and

get her ice cream cone in front of Paul Newman!

She just couldn't do that!

So she decided to wait outside the store until Mr. Newman had left the counter.

When she noticed he was no longer there,

she walked back into the store to retrieve her ice cream cone.

But when she got to the counter, she felt a tap on her shoulder from behind.

She turned around and.... IT WAS PAUL NEWMAN!

Flashing his famous smile, he said,

'Miss, if you're looking for your ice cream cone... you put it in your purse.'"

ohsnap!

it happened to me before.

I had a huge crush on this guy and every time he'd stand near me

or talk to me.. I couldn't control myself and be soooo kilig!

and ended up like sobrang pahiya.

can't eat. can't talk in front of him. at sobrang pawis. [talk about pasmado]

No matter how hard we try, we all end up looking pretty foolish from time to time.

We can try to look "cool" or totally in control, but down deep we struggle with

fears, worries, lack of confidence, low self-esteem.

And sometimes we let those things drag us down and

keep us from experiencing all that God wants for us.

Scripture encourages us to let go of our pride and

to humble ourselves to become a servant

[which can be a pretty embarrassing thing for some people].

Peter was embarrassed when he saw Jesus acting like a servant and

wanting to wash his dirty feet.

But think of how Jesus felt.

He was God, yet he was kneeling down and doing the job of a slave.

It didn't matter to him if what people may think of him.

We may look pretty foolish sometimes as Christians,

but "we are fools for Christ!" [first corinthians four ten]

went here to scout the place.

hoping we could find spot other than this.

gotta love the new frames.

well.. obviously need to fix it and put new lens.

i also got five different style frames.

paid them for only P30. yay!

Nayong Pilipino is being renovated.

heard that it will re-open later this year or early next year.

can't wait.

it feels great to finally meet model Jessica Yang.
well... I know we see her everywhere.. from runway to ads to prints.
she's absolutely rocking the fashion world.

well after setting a date for meet up..
was so happy I got a chance to talk to her.
She was so niiice and beautiful... even without make up on.

Jessica is a wonderful person who knows how to build
good relationship with the people she works with.
What I love about her is how she appreciates my stuff
though they seem like just ordinary.

I wanna thank her for making me feel good about what I'm doing.
I never thought that we could have this time talking about many things [in a very short period of time]
.... and encouraging one another with our stories.

if there would be something that's hard for me to photograph.. it's the sky.

i don't know why but there's this kind of feeling that it always looks perfect.
every click you make, when you check your photo you would always have this smile on your face
because it looks so beautiful.

on another note: lemme share you who my sole mate is..

i think, he was my first brown boots I got thrifted.
I found him when I was still in college.
since then, he became my trusted friend.

he never leaves me and always tries to look his best.

kuya and I are the type of persons who rarely watch TV.
we could spend hours working with desktops
but couldn't stay long watching anything on television.
but last April, holy week, we decided to spend some time
watching dvds ─ cartoons ─ with our kid cousins. yay!
we set up a projector so everyone could see it bigger
and that kids [and me of course. haha] could enjoy it.

went to a happy birthday earlier ─ my dowd's dad [happy sixtyfirst birthday po]
then rushed to Trilogy to witness a little wonder ─ an exhibit by musician, illustrator and painter, Nix Puno.

a bunch of ideas.. memories and thoughts came out while seeing those great pieces of art.

one. i love Trilogy's wall.
two. paintings on this great wall ─ dope!
three. my pop. [my father is a painter. a very old-school one. his masterpiece ─ my mom.
we learned from him how to love our craft no matter what we have and who we are.]
four. a picture of God.

aside from being inspired with how wonderful Nix Puno's works are..
I was so caught up with what i just read at the back of his invite. [better viewed here]

"They are part of a bigger context, a larger picture not yet seen
─ a tiny detail in an eventually beautiful plan.
Psalm 139 explains it in a way the artist can't."

though, my devo story today isn't about the verse above..
what i wanted to say is.. i love that it hit my heart.
i always admire people who know the word and live with it.
anyway.. glory to God.

moving on....
i have this story about drawing.. painting too.
and it was about.... A PICTURE OF GOD.

A little boy sat down at the kitchen table with his crayons and a big sheet of blank paper and started to draw.
His father, noticing the youngster hard at work at the table, stopped to look.
"What are you doing son?"
"I'm drawing a picture of God," said the little boy.
"But son," said the father, "You can't draw a picture of God. Nobody knows what God looks like."
The little boy thought for a moment and said,
"Well.... they will when I get through."

Most of us.. would agree with the father in the story. right?
No one knows what God looks like.
We don't even know how tall he is. How long his hair. etc. etc.
But maybe that's one of the reasons God created us and called us to serve him.
He created us "in his own image" so that we could, in a sense, show the world what God looks like.
When we are being conformed into the image of his son, Jesus Christ, [romans eight twentynine]
people can see in us a reflection of our Heavenly Father.
All of us have the ability to represent God to the world ─ and to do it in our own way.
We don't need to worry whether our picture of God looks like everybody else's.

We are to serve God uniquely.. with the gifts and abilities that God has given us.
and when we get through.. people will have a better idea of what God looks like.
They will see God in you.. in us!

woah. it's been raining for a week straight.. sooo cold...

and it's not just a simple rain where you could enjoy every drop of it and play.

haaay.. wonder how's everyone doing..

Oh Lord, keep us safe.

on a lighter note: I would like to share another devo which I pray would open our hearts

and would encourage us to use every opportunity we have to reach people.

How many of us here think of ways on how we could tell how eager we are to reach people and bring them at the feet of God.

You know what's more important thing we, people, must do?

It's to live with the purpose God gave us and to complete our mission ─ yup. M I S S I O N.

[but remember to never forget about: the ministry]

MISSION has been described as serving the needs of those who are not presently Christians.

It should be our goal to tell the world what life there is when we spend it with God.

We should be brave enough to stand up for Christ.

I believe we should be starting and continue spreading the word in any way possible.

What is that we need to do to tell them who's this G I'm talking about and the question is...

H O W?

I have a story here about someone who had this fascinating rendition of his spiritual journey.

He related how his first encounter with someone who could speak personally

about a real relationship with God came to him while serving in the US navy.

Apparently, one of his fellow recruits put out the word:

"I'm getting out of the Navy tomorrow and I'll give free pizza to anyone who'll listen to me talk about Jesus."

Then some responded, "I'll listen to anything to get free pizza. Bring it over here!"

He went on to relate how the pizza evangelist's excitement and absolute belief in what he was saying

had kept him spellbound from ten o' clock at night until two in the morning.

"PIZZA EVANGELISM! God was at work in bringing my senses into focus."

As I was reading this I remembered the story of a fender guitar t-shirt.

Having the same idea on how to get those people hear what they have to tell about Jesus.

Though wearing a christian t-shirt didn't work, having a common interest did.

In this story, the pizza evangelist is on to something here. Sure it was a "come on," but who cares?

He didn't bribe anyone without telling them what he was doing. He told him what he was up to since.

He was up front with everything.

"I'm going to talk to you about Jesus and I'm going to buy some of your time with a little pizza. How about it?'

That's a generous offer that respects a person's time and motivation.

I think we've all burned at one time or another by someone's sales pitch disguised

as something else ─ a freebie, a dinner out, or an invitation to meet a neighbor.

I know some would experience this when you are in the bus..

someone will stand there in front of you holding a bible.. telling about Jesus.

I have nothing against them. whether it's good or bad, i think it's just a brave move.

I believe we all have this feeling of wanting to know who this JESUS ba talaga.

Yes, He died on the cross and rose again.

He's the one we're talking to when we're praying.

When we're in trouble, we run to him and ask for help.

True enough,, we all know JESUS.

but do we know how HE LOVES US and how he wants us to be with him forever ─ as in for eternity?

I'm not playing like a religious someone here.I'm not a religious person and I don't want to be.

I just want to share you what I know personally about him.

And just like this man who was so brave to stand up for what he knows was right..

I was moved and felt that I could do the same thing

─ we could do the same thing ─ EVERYONE could do the same thing.

I like this pizza and Jesus guy. he went with a straight-accross deal.

"I've got something really important to me that I'd like to share with you..

I'm willing to give you something for your time, so that even if you don't like what

I have to say, you'll like the pizza."

And the weight of the offer itself tells you that this Jesus story is really important to him

─ important enough to make sure he has one last chance to tell it.

What do we have that we can give for someone's time?

What can we exchange for a legitimate opportunity to share the gospel with someone?

I think this is what this radar is up to.

You know, I may not always have great pizza... this New York Style pizza [hehe]..

But what I always try to give or share you, are at least,

the stories, the-not-so-perfect photos..

and with how I try to keep everything real.

I really don't know if you happen to read my posts.

I don't have that much follower who always track everything i do.

but what I wanted to say here is..

we may do anything we want to do in our lives..

we may have everything we want.

but we must remember that in everything,

we must choose to bridge the intention to let us, people,

help each other draw closer to God.

We have time to really get up close with him.

Read his word.

Connect with people who love you and love God more than anything.

And most of all,, try to have an intimate relationship with Him.

Pause for sometime. slow down.

meditate. pray.

understand and learn how to work on the salvation God has given you.

just a hyphen

heya!

MIA [again!]
but hey.. i'm back!
and i want to share few posts here on my radar.
so let me write my stories and begin with a short devotional reading.

obviously this is JUST A HYPHEN.
yup, that short line we use in writing fractions,
words that begin with anti.. non, to some titles,
separating identical letters, aircraft and more.. [thanks for the infos.hihi]

Some time ago a newspaper headline read,
"MISSING HYPHEN BLAMED IN ROCKET FAILURE."
It was hard to believe that a small hyphen in a computer readout caused
the destruction of a huge, powerful missile.
Perhaps you've heard the old proverb:

"For want of a nail the shoe was lost.
For want of a shoe the horse was lost.
For want of a horse the rider was lost.
For want of a rider the battle was lost.
For a want of a battle the kingdom was lost."

Apparently, that was the case here. On the day in question,
a Venus space probe launch vehicle, boosted by an eighteen-million dollar U.S. Atlas rocket,
was lost because a hyphen was missing from a computer equation.
Richard Morrison, a NASA official, told the House Space Committee
investigating the incident that the missing hyphen caused a mathematical miscue.
Said Morrison, "The hyphen gives a cue for the spacecraft to ignore the data
the computer feeds it until radar contact is once again restored.
When that hyphen is left out, false information is fed into the spacecraft control systems.
In this case, the computer fed in hard left, nose down, and the vehicle obeyed."

There is an important hyphen that belongs in our lives, too.
It doesn't seem like much, but without it, we can crash.
That hyphen is time alone with God.
A time to pray..
a time to read God's Word..
a time to listen to God's voice.
Just a few minutes a day is all it takes to keep our lives on course.

Whatever we're doing we should always act and do things in worship to God.
We may all be busy working on something that needs to be done.
But we must always keep in mind to put God on top of our priority.
It's not just the put-God-first thing.
it must be kept real.
not only by words, not only by anything..
but in heart and within our soul.
yes, everything may sound perfect.
Everything may look ok.
But time will come that we'll all stand before God
and He'll ask us what have we done with the life He gave us.
i just pray that we all pay attention to that important hyphen in our lives.

God is good and He loves us more than anything... more than this world.
i may share you some of my devotions here. you can read them if you want.
and encourage you to share yours.
i know.. this is the time we must all stand up for CHRIST.

co[LAB] Manila

i know how hard it is to collect info from anyone or say from the internet
if you don't know yet or haven't been to a place which you want to talk about.
It took me hours to make this post..
'cause i need to know and get all the facts and stories about this awesome place.
I first heard co[LAB] Manila from Sarah Meier and Vicky Herrera and from all the #manilaminds I'm following on twitter.
I know when they talk about a place of something dope.. they are always up for something great.
Just like when i've heard the cool space of Cubao X.. The Collective.. and Ronac Art Center from their radio show before.
And i was right.... co[Lab] Manila is more than just a place.
It's more than a structure.
It's more about building your own identity in a place where you can co-work with everyone.

This time.. it will all be about how to co-work and co[LAB].

It was two weeks before Fashion Week when we first got here.
Art and I were so amazed upon entering.

We had a meeting that day.. and we couldn't tell how happy
we were with everything we've heard and talked
with the two amazing people who always inspire us. [Thank you]

It was also a great privilege to go around the place and see what makes this..... AWESOME!

i know, been MIA for like.. weeks?
and haven't told you about the PFW stuff.
prolly will share you the amazing thing about this on my next post. stay tuned!

this is what my PFW DAY ONE [Sunday] looked like:

brother got a new baby.. the camera he's been ogling since it came out.
though we still can't afford a MARK one, glad to have this baby on his side.
omm.. and happy me, he gave me the free bag. #simplepleasuresinlife

so if you saw me with this bag hanging on my shoulder..
and now wanting to know why i chose to use this rather than the other cool totes or whatnot.
omm.. simply because this is not a camera bag.. 'tis a lunch box! haha. just kidding.
we were walking and going around.. anywhere.. so better if we packed some goodies and snacks.
and this bag had it all.... lens. batteries. CF cards... and foooooods! eeek! haha.

i saw men constructing the booths on the second floor..
the Vaio setup and the other one beside Dusit.
they reminded me of the people during my OJT.
i interned at CCP and did a lot of production setups.
love the acrylic thing they used here...
look oh, i even got a chance to take photo of myself [without head. eep!]

we got home like two a.m. every day and the only thing we could do was to sleep and rest.
but it was real fun meeting new people and getting to work with them.
What I love about Fashion Week.. is not just about watching cool and beautiful clothes the designers are showcasing..
it's more of the relationship you are building with other people.
people you work with.. people you meet.. and people who just simply smile at you.
It was a week full of memories.. wonderful stories that photos can't even tell.

But of course as part of the job,
we need to bring you the best of what we had during the week of showcasing
the works of Filipino designers in Philippine Fashion.
Though there are no runway reports and designer spotlight on my radar this season..

brought my baby brother to the doctor a couple of weeks ago to have it fixed.
he was sick.. and can't work with me so i had to ask kuya manong to cure him.

he's with me four years now. and i soooo love him. he's part of my life. my everything.
and i know how dowd loves him too, he even learned how to use it
and helps me when i have bunch of stuff to sew.
so to see him this sick really makes us feel sad.

oh, if only Juki knows how I want him to be my baby.

on another note: I had the time to check Intra's Starbucks that same day..
been at Intra for like everyday but haven't gotten inside.
so when I had the chance, grabbed my cam and took some snaps.

So to represent another shift, let's take a look at their capsule collection Lookbook.. BLUE FLIGHT.

Blue Flight is inspired by motion, levitation and the coolness of mint and blue.
Celebrating their admiration with heroes and power rangers,
Paradigm Shift translated it into something modern and street
hence the paneled pants with knee pads paired with their handmade shredded tees.

glad i had a chance to personally see this collection when Karl and Mike
invited me to FaDal x Chiaroscuro event held last March at The Republiq.

Rommel and I saw this panda stuffed toy in a thrift shop
while thrifting with mom and tita.
i actually asked him to buy me this but he refused *insert sad face here*
[he thought i was just joking] so I forced mom instead. haha. [kala mong bata]

was so attracted to him the moment i saw his black-and-white stuff.

oh ...i could stare and be with you forever.

so what we did last time...
we sat against the brick wall.
spent the day together.
