as i was reading and sorting his posts. i can't help but laugh a bit... laugh in a sense na nakakainspire knowing talaga that they're still people na may ginintuang puso.. willing to help and extend their arms.... feeeet and heart to rescue the evacuees and some people who are really in great need..

what happened last saturday was so deep and had marked another history in the Philippines.

but I am still awestruck with how people think of ways to help.. how they extend their kindness in times like this.

though, this was just another experience na we should really learn from.. we are all to blame for. We know why.. we know how.. but God will never leave us. whatever we did.. how bad we've become.. He's more than willing to rescue and comfort us. We just have to call His name and be humble enough to trust Him.. to entrust everything .. kasi sa lahat ng nangyayari sa buhay ng isang tao.. ANG DIYOS LANG ANG NAKAKAALAM NG TUNAY NA KALIGTASAN.

let's pray.. intercede.. and ACT.
mga tao na hindi that much affected.. you know who you are. nagbrownout ba sa inyo? binaha ba kayo. please do extend your passion in helping. diba gusto niyo makatulong. you always tell you wanna help kapag lumaki kayo at nagkapera. nagkatrabaho.. please.. MARAMING PARAAN.
nakikita niyo mga tao?? grabe.. kahit yung walang pera hindi mayaman. they are doing their part as a man.. as a friend.. as a PINOY.. and as someone who really LOVES GOD.

we're not just doing this for our fellowmen's sake... we are doing this because of Him and just for HIM..

i'm so happy and nakakatouch kaya ang mga nangyayari.. .....
i love Philippines and i love my DOWD. hehe. soo miss him.


*there are lots of ways to help. hindi man personal. we can help in ways we know and.. prayers really make things possible. pray for those who are in the battlefield right now.. ....
for them to stay strong. (mahirap kaya yung takbo dun takbo dito just to check if people get what they really need). let their positive minds keep on working. (as what i've heard,,marami nagvolunteer pero they keep on complaining. wag nmn sana gnun) and let's pray na in the end.. mapalitan din ung pagod nila.

whew! ye! i love when it's raining 'cause that's the time i could wear my hardware boots. but if this kind of rain makes people sick.. stuck.. stranded.. broken. and dead. "AYOKO NG ULAN lalo na ang bagyo!"

"Tropical storm 'Ondoy' (international code name Ketsana) slammed into the eastern side of the northern Philippines before noon Saturday, bringing rains that caused widespread flooding in many parts of Luzon, including Metro Manila."
This was what the television news are telling the whole day. Many families and thousands of people fled their homes as the storm caused flooding in wide areas of Manila and some parts of the Philippines. Metro Manila is heavily flooded, leaving commuters (that includes my brother) and motorists stranded. And as floodwaters had risen above chest level.. no one and nothing could really be seen visible.

whew! ONDOY really hit us big time.

Anyway... as part of this blog. I wanna stretch my hands and try to be a help to those people who are really affected by this 'ondoy'. Team Manila is in great move of extending their shops.. as they open doors to accept relief goods and old stuffs that can still be used.. they're helping the country in looking and finding ways to help the affected people.. so as NAKITTA (though we're a vintage store. we won't use your donations to sell them.fyi :] hehe.) and ALERALO•kale... we are accepting your goods, too. You can send us your donations and we'll be giving them to TEAM MANILA's office on Monday. Me and my mum are now packing what we have. 'ope we can attend to this kind of need.

we are counting on you guys.. especially those in CAVITE. ;']

As part of my daily routine, i check emails every morning and read my daily devo.

though this devo guide is just a part of my quiet time..

it really helps me to learn more about God's message.. and be inspired... the whole day.

"i'm not good. i'm not the best kid in town.

and will never be the sweetest girl in the house you could ever imagine.

i always fall and never make things right the way they should be.

i'm not perfect. i fall down and it really takes time before i get up.

i always make mistakes. i stumble."

Perhaps there are also some who could feel the same thing,

but what makes us blessed though we feel we are useless and we're sinners..

is that God understands us completely. He's fully aware of our humanity.

He knows what makes us tick. He knows our faults, our fears, our failures,

and our frustrations. He doesn't expect us to be Superman or Superwoman.

If you're a parent, do you love your children at every stage of their development

or are you waiting until they're mature to love them?

The point is, God loves us at every stage of our development so we don't have

to have unresolved guilt and unrealistic expectations.

- There is nothing we could ever do that will make God love us more than He does right now.

- There is nothing that we could ever do that will make God love us less than He does right now.

GOD'S LOVE IS UNCONDITIONAL. IT'S NOT BASED ON WHAT WE DO OR DON'T DO.

I like to think of it like this-- I once with a li'l kid who's just learning to walk.

He'd take a step; he'd stumble. He'd get up, take two steps; he'd stumble.

He'd get up and fall back down without taking a step. He'd get up; he'd fall backwards.

He'd get up and take a couple steps and fall again.

As someone who's at his side, what was my reaction?

Did I scold him? "What are you doing stumbling? Get up.

You can do better than that." then beat him? Of course not! How silly!

But a lot of us think that's how God treats us.

We think that every time we stumble, God says, "Get up! What are you doing, you dummy?"

The Bible teaches us that, "There is no condemnation now for those

who live in union with Christ Jesus" (Romans 8:1). What does that mean?

Let's say I take a card and write every single thing I've ever done wrong on it

(and, you know, it wouldn't all fit on a single card).

I write down all my sins, all my faults, all my mistakes, all the skeletons in my closet,

all the shameful acts and thoughts and memories and temptations.

And then I put the card in a book and close it. You can't see the card anymore.

You can only see the book. That's the way God sees us when Jesus is in our lives.

He no longer sees our sin; he sees Jesus at work in our lives.

When we come to Christ and say, "God, here's my life.

Everything I've ever done wrong, every time I've ever made a mistake.

All those stupid things I've done. I want to put my life in Jesus Christ."

We can then feel that Jesus wraps us with His love and God looks at Jesus

and sees that Jesus is perfect. He doesn't see our sins.

That's what it means to relax in God's grace. He loves us unconditionally.

He loves us more than anybody else can.. in the world.
